Our engineering department is the heartbeat of Dalton Building Enclosures. This is where your ideas start their journey to becoming reality. We are as diverse as your imagination, and have the experience to design most any project. Whether it’s a simple metal roofing project, or a complicated composite wall panel project, our engineers will take an idea, crude sketch, or architectural drawing and furnish custom shop drawings that become the gauge by which others are designed. Fabrication
Working with our engineering department, our skilled craftsmen will manufacture all material to job specifications within acceptable tolerances. With all our computerized shears, brakes, folders, and routing machines, we are capable of fabricating lengths up to 16’ long and storing all finished product in our insured warehouse until they’re ready to ship. Along with our standing seam roll forming machines, siding & soffit machines, gutter & column machines, we can fabricate and manufacture any product in the marketplace today. At Dalton Building Enclosures, we accept total responsibility and control for all your materials, and our dedication to fabricate to your demands is just another reason we’ve gained a reputation as dependable, quality fabricators.
Consulting
Dalton Building Enclosures is available for full consultation with architects, engineers, and prospective customers to help engineer our products for your project. The earlier we are involve with a project the more opportunity we have to establish our value in the process as well as uncover savings and design advantages.
Shipping
Our fleet of trucks provides our customers with fast dependable deliveries, as well as a reduction in claims due to material mishandling. When our trucks are impractical, we’ll ship via fully-insured reputable common carriers. All materials for a project are carefully wrapped, crated, or bundled to simplify unloading on the job site, thus eliminating problems with damaged materials before they can occur. At Dalton Building Enclosures, we take great care in shipping your materials. We help eliminate downtime due to late or lost materials, and strive to keep the job moving on schedule.
Installation
Dalton Building Enclosures’ field personnel includes roofers, carpenters, iron workers, and glazers that have been trained to master the Dalton Building Enclosure product lines. The craftsmanship exhibited by our erection crews is, perhaps, the main reason for the success we have enjoyed all across the United States. Whether the job is industrial, commercial, retail, institutional or governmental, our foremen are very resourceful, and will work with the project superintendent to help minimize and eliminate costly down time. This is just another way that we are better able to serve you, and get the job done on time.
Mock-Ups
Upon request, Dalton Building Enclosures provides our customers with full size mock-ups for the project.
